The selected candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the Chandler Fab Metrology area.
The technician position involves executing tasks necessary to maintain Chandler Fab metrology toolsets, including equipment from the following groups:
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, performing scheduled maintenance, changing consumables, and other relevant activities. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC, 5S, FDC systems, and problem-solving skills. The role requires interfacing with internal and external groups to ensure safety, performance, and reliability standards are met. Documentation and training others are also part of the responsibilities.
The candidate should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, be able to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours), and perform tasks such as stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
Work shifts may include days or nights, and may involve working compressed schedules.
Education: An AA, AS, or AAS in electronics or related industrial engineering discipline is preferred. Education combined with experience or military training may also satisfy formal education requirements.
Experience: Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance functions is required.
