Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical expertise for the TGCM team, ensuring safe and efficient gas and chemical distribution operations. The role includes delivering solutions, training, and on-site support across semiconductor manufacturing environments.

You will travel nationwide, support customer service enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, with opportunities for relocation for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical or other manufacturing setting.
• 1+ years of experience with BCD/PCD and gas-related equipment.
• 1+ years of experience with gas and/or chemical delivery systems in ultra-high purity operation.
• Associate Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline supports candidacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop technicians, evaluating performance and improving skills.
• Identify and implement technical solutions to improve equipment performance.
• Evaluate business operations and provide expert consultation.
• Develop and verify technical documentation, including user guides and training materials.
• Lead the development and implementation of technical solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment alarms, supporting customer modifications as needed.
• Prepare and conduct onboarding and continuous training programs.
