Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Customer Field Technician II for a local client in Austin, TX. The role focuses on mechanical assembly, installation preparation, and field support for semiconductor equipment.

You will read and follow procedures, use hand tools and measuring devices, and help with equipment leveling and alignment. You should have a high school diploma and 1–2 years in manufacturing or field operations, with a demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a team in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing, equipment assembly, or field operations.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment environments – preferred.
• Experience supporting equipment installations or manufacturing builds – preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, or electro-mechanical assemblies – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly, installation preparation, and movement of semiconductor equipment in customer sites.
• Perform mechanical assembly, system builds, material handling, and site support under supervision.
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and checklists with attention to quality and safety.
• Assist with equipment leveling, alignment, and basic mechanical adjustments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
