Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to service semiconductor processing equipment on-site in Austin, TX. The role may involve night shifts for Taylor, TX coverage and requires a focus on quality, PPE, LOTO, and safety on construction sites.

Associates degree preferred; HS diploma with 5+ years experience acceptable. 2+ years in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment is expected. On-site at Samsung Austin with Taylor site coverage.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience (0+ years) in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment.
• Excellent customer interface skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Thorough understanding of safety and company procedures on site.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems and maintains records.
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisors and customers to minimize downtime.
• Orders and installs parts and responds to emergency service calls.
• Instructs customers on system operation and maintenance.
