Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Facilities Operations Technician to maintain and operate the site’s mechanical systems and utilities in a 24/7 wafer fabrication environment.

You will follow SOPs, monitor deviations, troubleshoot equipment, and take corrective action to maximize reliability and safety while supporting production.

This on-site role in Austin, TX includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a leading semiconductor facility.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical or related technical field required.
• Prior semiconductor/industrial facilities experience.
• Knowledge of SCADA and HMIs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates site mechanical systems.
• Operates physical plants within specifications to maintain efficiency and utilities.
• Follows SOPs, suggests safety and quality improvements as needed.
• Responds to out-of-spec conditions with safety/production impact.
• Monitors deviations, takes corrective action, escalates as needed.
• Adjusts equipment parameters to maximize efficiency within specs.
• Troubleshoots problems to identify root causes and solutions.
