Job summary

SCREEN SPE USA, LLC, based in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Field Services Engineer to install, commission, and test semiconductor process equipment at customer facilities. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant operation, diagnosing issues, and performing timely repairs.

Qualifications

• Field Service and on-site equipment installation experience, ideally with complex semiconductor or industrial systems.
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
• Preventive Maintenance capabilities, including routine inspections, calibration, and component replacement.
• Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation; strong attention to detail and safety standards.
• Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally nationwide; valid driver’s license and ability to work in cleanroom environments as needed.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or capital equipment service is a plus; familiarity with PLCs and automation systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test semiconductor process equipment at customer facilities.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software issues, and timely corrective repairs.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance activities and document service actions.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customer personnel.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customer contacts to resolve equipment issues and support continuous improvement.
