Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site service and repair of automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain records, and coordinate with customers to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong customer interface skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to use appropriate tools. You will also install parts, train customer technicians, and participate in equipment upgrades as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in electronics/engineering preferred; HS diploma with relevant experience acceptable.
• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to communicate clearly with customers and peers.
• Military experience considered in place of education; prior semiconductor industry experience valuable.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service and repair of automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
• Maintain records and reports as required.
• Coordinate activities with peers, supervisors and customers to minimize downtime.
• Order and install new parts.
• Instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance.
• Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed.
• Stay current on equipment/tools through training and manuals.
