Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment on-site in Boise, Idaho.

You will troubleshoot equipment, perform upgrades, order parts, and train customer technicians while maintaining records and complying with safety procedures.

This role offers hourly pay from USD22 to USD38 plus travel per diem and optional shift differential, with opportunities to advance in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in electronics, engineering, or related field preferred; HS/GED minimum.
• Professional electrical/mechanical repair or troubleshooting experience.
• Military experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• On-site service and repair of automated semiconductor equipment.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment issues.
• Maintains records and reports as required.
• Coordinates with peers, supervisor, and customers to minimize downtime.
• Orders and installs replacement parts.
• Instructs customer operators on system operation and maintenance.
• Performs upgrades and modifications as needed.
• Keeps current on equipment/tools through training and manuals.
