Job summary

ASM is hiring a Field Service Engineer in Chandler, AZ to install, service and repair semiconductor equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process issues and provide responsive, safety‑driven service in collaboration with senior engineers.

The role requires hands‑on experience with complex systems, a strong ability to read schematics, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Hands‑on technical experience maintaining, repairing, or troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex system faults, follow technical procedures with precision, and maintain equipment in mission‑critical environments.
• Experience working under strict safety protocols, lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, and high‑reliability operational standards.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ASM semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process issues in collaboration with senior engineering staff.
• Deliver responsive, customer‑focused service with a strong commitment to safety and operational discipline.
• Working in cleanroom environments while following strict safety and quality standards.
• Assisting, identifying and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Participate in escalations and cross‑functional problem‑solving.
• Work on an assigned shift schedule supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations.
