Job summary

SCREEN SPE is seeking an experienced Installation and Modification Field Service Engineer to provide support for installation, maintenance, and on-site service of advanced semiconductor equipment in Chandler, AZ. The role offers an hourly wage between $30 and $50, with travel up to 80% and a requirement to pass background and respirator certification.

Qualifications

• This position requires a minimum of 3 years' experience working with Clean/Etch, track, and or CMP process equipment or equivalent related electromechanical equipment.
• Must be able to pass customer background check and be able to pass medical test and certification/training for respirator use.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds, climb steep stairs and be able to stand for up to 4 hours.
• Develops and maintains excellent working relationship with shift techs and tool owners.
• May require night and or compressed shift schedule and travel (up to 80%)
• Must have a valid passport and REAL ID for immediate travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support installation and modification of semiconductor equipment.
• Follow Pre-Task Plans and Procedures for all work performed on a tool.
• Contribute to problem solving using Model Based Problem-Solving methodology.
• Maintain L3 certification on required tool sets.
• Proactively communicates progress and plans to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain documentation and use MS Office for reporting.
• Follow safety guidelines and report safety issues within 24 hours.
• Develop processes from detailed oral and written procedures.
