Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a supervisory professional for its Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility. You will oversee day-to-day operations, enforce safety, environmental compliance, and optimize processes while guiding a team of technicians.

Requirements include a BS in Chemistry or related field, 4–6 years of hazardous waste experience, and HAZWOPER certification. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related science; or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years hazardous waste experience preferred.
• HAZWOPER Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Enforces all compliance, health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with departmental and regional requirements.
• Oversees compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and all other governmental regulations.
• Attends and arranges for required training courses.
• Oversees operation of all equipment including maintenance to ensure optimum utilization.
• Assists with training of team members to ensure performance standards.
• Maintains professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to problems.
