Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. welcomes an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our new semiconductor fab in Boise, Idaho.

You will maintain medium and low voltage systems on-site up to 35kV, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to keep equipment in peak condition. The role emphasizes safety (LOTO, NFPA 70E), understanding electrical diagrams, and rapid restoration of equipment during outages.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical industrial, semiconductor, or related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of maintenance experience
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), may rotate days/nights every 4 months

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures, LOTO, and NFPA 70E standards
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on complex facilities equipment
• Inspect and coordinate work with contractors
• Restore equipment to service promptly after system failures
• Read one-line diagrams and perform feeder switching on switchboards with redundant feeds
• Maintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipment
