Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Facilities Instrumentation & Controls Technician to support state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing operations.

You will maintain and calibrate instrumentation, monitor performance, and ensure safe, reliable plant systems. The role requires focus on accuracy, adherence to LOTO and NFPA 70E standards, and collaboration with the facilities team to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings and diagrams.
• Commitment to safety protocols including LOTO and NFPA 70E standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain instrumentation and control systems for facilities performance monitoring.
• Calibrate and maintain instrumentation with accurate documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols (LOTO, NFPA 70E) and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Interpret P&ID drawings to troubleshoot faults and alarms.
• Collaborate with team to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability.
• Maintain records of maintenance, testing and calibrations.
