Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a highly motivated Equipment Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment in Boise. You will collaborate with Shift Operations, equipment engineers, and tool vendors to ensure peak tool performance in a brand-new semiconductor manufacturing environment.

You will support fabrication processing at the forefront of innovation, maintaining safety and quality while adapting to evolving tool technologies and processes.

Qualifications

Associates degree or 2 years in maintaining manufacturing equipment or related field.
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights) with rotating schedule.
Experience in preventative maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team and address preventive maintenance needs for equipment performance.
Identify performance gaps and implement improvements; document deviations.
Maintain cleanroom areas and organize tools/equipment.
Participate in projects to enhance equipment availability and improvements.
Attend vendor/supplier training to understand semiconductor tools.
Wear PPE and maintain a safe, contamination-free environment.
Lead projects related to equipment maintenance within scope, schedule, and budget.
