Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment in a brand-new semiconductor environment.

You will collaborate with Shift Operations, area equipment engineers, and tool vendors to ensure peak tool performance and uptime. You will support fabrication processing, lead projects related to equipment maintenance, and adhere to strict safety and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Robotics or 2+ years maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.
• Proficient with mechanical, electronic, and PC/software tools to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to address preventive maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Identify performance gaps and implement improvements while documenting deviations.
• Maintain cleanroom area and organize items per protocols.
• Lead projects related to equipment maintenance within schedule and budget.
• Attend training to improve understanding of semiconductor tools.
