Job summary

IQE PLC in Taunton, MA is seeking an Equipment Engineering Technician to support the maintenance and upkeep of semiconductor processing reactors and related equipment. The role emphasizes equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and rapid repairs to maximize production uptime.

The successful candidate will have experience with mechanical, electrical and pressure systems, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to follow procedures, document work, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

HNC or equivalent in engineering is desirable.
Experience in mechanical, electrical and pressure systems environments.
Strong mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude.
Ability to prioritize and act quickly under pressure while ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

Maintain mechanical, electrical and pressure systems per procedures.
Return machines to safe and capable status.
Maintain, troubleshoot and upkeep semiconductor processing reactors and related equipment.
Maximize uptime of equipment necessary for production.
Follow health, safety, environmental and cyber security guidelines.
