Job summary

Teledyne Imaging Sensors is seeking an Equipment Technician to join our mission-focused team in Camarillo, CA. You’ll support maintenance and uptime of semiconductor fabrication equipment in a cleanroom, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with facilities and vendors to enable capital installations.

The role requires hands-on repair experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Repair experience on semiconductor process equipment.
• Experience with high vacuum systems, cryogenics, compressors, gas cabinets, coating and etching.
• Lithography equipment experience is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs and can wear a respirator as needed.
• U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and uptime of semiconductor fabrication equipment in a cleanroom.
• Maintain and replace supporting systems (vacuum pumps, cryogenics, chillers) and gas cylinder changes.
• Assist equipment engineers with troubleshooting using diagrams and schematics.
• Coordinate with facilities, vendors, and suppliers for maintenance and capital installations.
• Maintain documentation, spare parts inventory, and record equipment data.
