Job summary

PCB Piezotronics, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an Equipment and Maintenance Engineer on 2nd shift to install, maintain, and optimize semiconductor equipment and facility systems.

The role focuses on safe, efficient operations and supporting reliability across the plant. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and implement improvements with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with machinery, equipment maintenance and technical support.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment and cleanroom environment.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission new equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with standards.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting: preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Performance monitoring and improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
• Technical support: guidance and training to operations and engineering teams.
• Quality and compliance: ensure equipment meets safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
