PCB Piezotronics, a leader in vibration sensors, is seeking an Equipment and Maintenance Engineer for the 2nd shift in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and optimizing semiconductor equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations across the facility.

The position requires an Associate’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of hands-on experience with machinery and semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment, plus strong root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience with machinery and semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment.
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting and reliability improvement.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities; cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel <5% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and optimize semiconductor equipment for safe, reliable operations.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements.
• Provide guidance and training to operations and engineering teams.
