Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a PCB manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in a production setting, strong knowledge of electrical systems, electronics and PLC controls, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This ITAR facility requires US citizenship or a lawful permanent resident.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of related experience in a production facility (PCB shop preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems for installations and repairs.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and facility utilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects.
• Relocate equipment and services for manufacturing equipment.
• Repair or replace walls and items for incoming equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Support process engineering on improvement projects and install new equipment.
• Support facility cost reduction and security projects.
