Job summary

Headway Technologies is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician (D Shift) to perform routine and preventative maintenance on semiconductor tool sets in Milpitas, CA. You will work under the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to ensure optimal tool performance and uptime.

The role requires a 2-year degree and hands-on semiconductor maintenance experience, with proficiency in pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical disciplines. Cleanroom protocol and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in electronics/manufacturing.
• Two years of hands-on equipment maintenance in semiconductor/high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong foundation in pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience with major semiconductor tools (listed in qualifications).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on tool sets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tool issues to ensure uptime.
• Collaborate with engineering/vendors to improve tool reliability and reduce downtime.
• Prepare data/documentation for daily/weekly pass-down meetings.
• Read schematics and OEM manuals to diagnose issues.
• Recommend process improvements for efficiency and yields.
• Maintain safety and clean-room procedures.
