The Equipment and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining and optimizing semiconductor equipment and machinery to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operations across the facility. Supports facilities infrastructure and maintenance requirements. Training will be conducted on 1st shift and then moved to 2nd shift once training is complete.
Additional Duties:
Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with standards.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Completes all required paperwork and updates service records as needed.
Performance Monitoring: Evaluate equipment performance, suggest improvements, and implement enhancements to increase reliability and efficiency.
Technical Support: Provide guidance and training to operations and engineering teams on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
Quality and Compliance: Ensure equipment meets safety, regulatory, and quality standards, often collaborating with QA/QC teams.
Procurement and Vendor Management: Assist in budgeting, sourcing, and managing vendors to maintain equipment.
Perform basic facility maintenance tasks to support a safe and efficient work environment
Perform other related duties as required.
