Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the facility's environmental compliance programs at a semiconductor manufacturing site. The role will supervise waste management, industrial pretreatment, and compliance staff, and lead internal reviews, audits, and risk assessments to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.

You will develop work plans, coordinate with client and regulatory agencies, and conduct inspections of facilities.

Qualifications

Experience or knowledge of waste profiling and management techniques.
College level Chemistry knowledge.

Responsibilities

Supervises staff within the waste management, Industrial Pretreatment, and compliance areas.
Conducts internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance procedures are followed.
Conduct environmental audits to ensure adherence to regulatory permit and contractual standards.
Disseminates written policies and translates to work plans/work action.
Interacts with Industrial/Commercial Contacts and presents VWNA professionally.
Writes reports and business correspondence with Client and regulators.
Inspects facilities for compliance with federal regulations and local ordinances.
Investigates RCRA, DOT and 90 day issues.
Interfaces with local businesses and city officials to achieve compliance objectives.
Assists in community outreach activities and in laboratory support activities.
