Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager / Design Lead to support our Semiconductor sector, focusing on tool install, facility retrofit, and manufacturing infrastructure projects. The role can be remote, with preference for candidates in Albany, NY; Chandler, AZ; Hillsboro, OR; or Boise, ID, due to proximity to key locations.

Travel to project sites will be required. You will collaborate with engineering managers, discipline leads, architects, and project managers to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, industrial, process engineering, or related field.
• Experience as a Design Lead, Engineering Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role supporting semiconductor or complex technical facility projects.
• Direct experience with semiconductor manufacturing facilities, tool install projects, cleanrooms, or manufacturing MEP/process utilities is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM platforms; strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design efforts for semiconductor tool install, facility upgrade and retrofit projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, technical deliverables, and quality with engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, technical requirements, design reviews, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to support facility integration and installation readiness.
• Review design packages, RFIs, submittals, and changes to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
