Job summary

Insight Global in Austin, TX is seeking a Staff Construction Project Manager to drive delivery of semiconductor construction projects from planning through turnover. You will coordinate with design teams, procurement, subcontractors, and commissioning, ensuring schedules and budgets are met while maintaining safety and quality.

The role demands decisive leadership and the ability to translate goals into actionable plans and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• .o Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, construction management or equivalent.
• .o 10+ years of construction project management in large manufacturing or industrial environments with Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing.
• .o Strong understanding of MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning for Semiconductor factories.
• .o Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, MS Excel) and design tools like AutoCAD.
• .o CCM, OSHA 30, NFPA70E certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for managing project buy-out processes, including bid packages, RFPs, contracts and Work Orders.
• Direct MEP long-lead equipment procurement for semiconductor construction projects to meet specs, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with project superintendents to set objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Review plans with design teams to resolve clashes and determine best path forward.
• Prepare and maintain contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
• Oversee commissioning and testing of electrical systems, outages, handover, and training materials.
