Job summary

Wolfspeed in the United States is seeking a process-sustaining technician to support automated semiconductor production. The role covers multiple areas (Photolithography, Wet Processing, Etch, Thin Films, Diffusion, Implantation, Metrology, and Bond & Grind) with a 12-hour night shift on a rotating schedule and occasional Saturdays/Sundays.

You will collaborate with Engineers, document DOE data, address equipment issues, and help refine procedures while coordinating reticle inventory.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineer Technology (EET) or Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) or equivalent in semiconductor environment.
• Experience with structured problem solving (5Y and 8Ds).
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets, document data from DOE.
• Report process issues and coordinate with Process Engineers & Equipment Maintenance to resolve non-conformances.
• Handle material depositions and resolve lot issues; assist in updating procedures and reticle inventory.
