Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a process technician to provide sustaining support in an automated semiconductor production environment, with focus areas including Photolithography, Wet Processing, Etch, Thin Films, Diffusion, Implantation, Metrology, or Bond & Grind. This role operates on a 12-hour day shift with a 3on-4off-4on-3off schedule.

You will collaborate with Engineering to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets, document data from experiments, report issues, and help achieve quarterly

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent in semiconductor.
• Knowledge of structured problem solving (5Y and 8D).
• MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets.
• Characterize, document and present data based on DOE.
• Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions; take corrective action.
• Handle material depositions and resolve lot issues.
• Assist in creating/maintaining procedures and reticle inventory.
