Job summary

Wolfspeed in Marcy, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to oversee wafer production from start to finish, coordinating with engineers to achieve world-class cycle times. You will operate equipment across photolithography, etch, CVD, PVD, and metrology, and manage wafer handling with the MES.

You will work a 12-hour night/day shift with a 3on-4off-4on-3off schedule, with a shift differential up to 15% and overtime/bonus eligibility. Basic computer skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 6 hours and lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Proficiency with Excel and Outlook for logging data and communication.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate semiconductor process equipment in areas such as photolithography, etch, CVD, PVD, and metrology.
• Perform wafer unpacking, releasing to process, and packing for shipment.
• Maintain presence in Operations Command Center and monitor data to optimize wafer movement.
