Job summary

Wolfspeed in the United States (New York) seeks an equipment process technician for a 12-hour shift on a 3on-4off-4on-3off cycle. You will collaborate with Engineering to develop and qualify processes and tools in a semiconductor environment.

You will characterize, document, and present DOE-based data, report malfunctions, and work with Maintenance to resolve issues. The role also involves assisting in procedures and maintaining reticle inventory.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology (or related)
• Strong structured problem solving skills (5Y / 8D) and data handling.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with DOE and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets.
• Characterize, document and present DOE-based data.
• Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions; take corrective action.
• Interact with Process Engineers and Equipment Maintenance to resolve non-conformance.
• Assist in creating new procedures and maintaining reticle inventory.
