Job summary

Wolfspeed, Inc. is seeking a process sustaining specialist for implantation in a 12-hour night shift (3 days on, 4 off, then 4 days on, 3 off; alternating Wed-Sat, 6pm-6am).

Responsibilities include developing and qualifying new processes, documenting data from DOE, reporting issues, and supporting yield and cycle time goals. Requires an EET/MET associate degree, semiconductor experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineer Technology (EET) or Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET).
• Equivalent experience within a semiconductor environment.
• Understanding of structured problem solving (5Y and 8Ds).
• MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets.
• Characterize, document and present data from DOE studies.
• Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions; take corrective action.
• Set up processing equipment and monitor yield and cycle time goals.
• Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
