Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC/BIM Coordinator to lead clash detection and coordination across process, mechanical, electrical, and structural models. You will facilitate meetings with engineering teams, consultants, and clients, ensuring project schedules stay aligned with BIM Execution Plans.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of BIM/VDC experience in design environments and strong knowledge of high-density systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field (or equivalent).
5+ years of BIM/VDC experience in design/engineering environments.
Experience supporting semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead design-phase clash detection and coordination workflows across multi-discipline models.
Plan, facilitate, and run recurring coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Aggregate and manage federated models and ensure BEP/client standard alignment.
Identify clashes and drive resolution with discipline leads.
Track issues, assign accountability, and monitor progress to maintain schedules.
Develop coordination logs, dashboards, and reporting metrics for leadership and clients.
Support model-based design reviews focusing on constructability and operability.
