Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC/BIM Coordinator to support model-based coordination for complex semiconductor facility design projects. You will engage in BIM coordination, clash detection workflows, and model reviews within the Digital Delivery team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on BIM/VDC experience and is eager to deepen technical knowledge, project delivery understanding, and coordination skills under guidance. The role offers a hybrid work model and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience in a design or engineering firm.
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing facility design preferred.
• Working knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, piping, electrical, and coordination basics.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans and client BIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Support design-phase clash detection and BIM coordination workflows across multidisciplinary models.
• Assist with preparation, facilitation, and documentation of recurring coordination meetings.
• Help aggregate and manage federated models in line with BIM Execution Plans.
• Review clashes and design conflicts, driving resolution with discipline leads.
• Track coordination items, update issue logs, and monitor progress toward resolution.
• Prepare and maintain coordination reports, meeting notes, dashboards, and basic metrics.
• Support model-based design reviews focusing on constructability and operability.
• Apply BIM/VDC standards and QA/QC procedures under moderate guidance.
• Build knowledge of delivery processes, project standards, and semiconductor design practices.
• Suggest improvements to BIM/VDC workflows based on project experience.
