Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC/BIM Coordinator to support model-based coordination for complex semiconductor facility design projects within the Digital Delivery team. You will assist with BIM coordination, clash detection workflows, model reviews, and meeting preparation, building knowledge of delivery processes and client requirements.

The role requires hands-on BIM/VDC experience, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to follow established BIM standards and QA/QC procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience within a design or engineering firm environment.
• Experience supporting semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing facility design, or similar preferred.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360/ACS workflows.
• Ability to analyze and resolve straightforward coordination issues using established procedures and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support design-phase clash detection and BIM coordination workflows across multidisciplinary models (process, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural).
• Prepare, facilitate, and document recurring coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, clients, and trade partners.
• Aggregate and manage federated models in alignment with BIM Execution Plans and client standards.
• Review clashes and design conflicts, driving resolution with discipline leads.
• Track coordination items and update issue logs; monitor progress toward resolution.
• Prepare coordination reports, meeting notes, dashboards, and basic metrics for project teams.
