Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC / BIM Coordinator to support model-based coordination for complex semiconductor facility design projects. You’ll assist with BIM coordination, clash workflows, reviews, and meeting prep within the Digital Delivery team.

The role targets hands-on BIM/VDC experience, building toward higher technical knowledge under guidance from senior team members and engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 2+ years BIM/VDC experience in design or engineering environments.
• Experience with semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 for model coordination.
• Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Support BIM/VDC coordination across multidisciplinary models (process, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural).
• Prepare and document recurring coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, clients, and partners.
• Manage federated models aligned to BIM Execution Plans and client standards.
• Review clashes and design constraints, driving resolution with discipline leads.
• Track items, update logs, and monitor progress toward resolution.
• Produce coordination reports, meeting notes, dashboards, and basic metrics.
• Support model‑based design reviews focusing on constructability and operability.
• Apply BIM/VDC standards and QA/QC under moderate guidance.
• Build knowledge of delivery processes and project requirements for semiconductor design.
• Suggest improvements to BIM/VDC workflows based on project experience.
