Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC/BIM Coordinator to lead model-based coordination for large semiconductor facilities. You will drive clash detection, facilitate multi-disciplinary coordination meetings, and manage federated models in line with BEP and client standards.

You will guide teams through constructible design solutions, support design reviews, and help enforce BIM/VDC standards while mentoring engineers in best practices. The role offers a hybrid work model and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of BIM/VDC experience within design/engineering firms.
• Experience supporting semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing facility design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design-phase clash detection and coordination workflows across multi-discipline models (process, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural).
• Plan, facilitate, and run recurring coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, clients, and partners.
• Aggregate and manage federated models aligned with BEP and client standards.
