Job summary

NXP Semiconductors NV is seeking a Day Shift Analytical Engineering Lab Technician for the ATMC site. The role supports physical analysis laboratories by maintaining chemical quality, monitoring contamination, and assisting failure analysis to identify root causes.

The candidate will work with autonomy, receive mentorship from engineers and chemists, and contribute to safe, accurate laboratory operations in a semiconductor manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science preferred.
• Experience in a chemistry laboratory environment required.
• Ability to work in both wet lab and cleanroom environments.
• Hands-on with analytical instrumentation and techniques.
• Knowledge of process control methods (e.g., Six Sigma) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality control over chemicals and environmental monitoring.
• Assist in failure analysis investigations and determine root causes.
• Operate and troubleshoot analytical instruments and data collection.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous chemicals.
• Record data accurately and communicate results to engineers.
• Maintain a clean and compliant laboratory environment.
• Support continuous improvement and process control efforts.
