Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Chemical Lab Engineer/Analytical Chemist to join our 5-nanometer fab in Phoenix, AZ. You will design and apply chemical analysis methods for materials quality control and support vendor qualification and audits.

You will develop analytic capabilities, troubleshoot CIP processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-purity materials for advanced semiconductor manufacturing.

Qualifications

BS degree is minimum requirement.
Major in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Material Analysis, or related field
Experience in chemical analysis instrument operation and method development like ICP-MS, GC-MS, IC, or related
Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus
Accountable, proactive, & innovative.
Team-worker with excellent communication skills
Good project management skills

Responsibilities

Setup chemical analysis methodology for Fab environment and raw materials quality control.
Incoming materials, raw materials local vendor qualification and audit.
Assist with local vendor qualification and reporting
Chemical expert for Fab event prevention, root cause clarification, trouble shooting and CIP.
Develop advanced analytic technology to fulfil the new generation requirement.
