GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Fab 8 in Malta, NY. You will monitor equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot issues in a high-precision 300mm facility that runs continuously.

Ideal candidates have electrical or mechanical experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a cleanroom environment with strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
• 2-year technical degree or relevant formal training.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance is required or noted.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues in a 24/7 fab environment.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech or Engineer.
