The Lube Technician's responsibilities include preparing detailed vehicle service reports, replacing vehicle wiper blades and batteries, changing motor oil, transmission fluid, and brake fluid as needed. You should also be able to keep vehicle interiors clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough multipoint inspections
• Complete maintenance and repair work efficiently according to dealership and Ford standards
• Perform lube, oil, and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, mounting, and balancing
• Explain recommendations clearly to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through training sessions to advance your career and stay updated with evolving technology
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to perform various tasks

Minimum Requirements

• Basic knowledge of automobiles
• Valid driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are not required but preferred
• Must take and maintain current Ford training
• Team-oriented, flexible, and committed to high customer service standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
