Position Summary: Performs semi-skilled work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and associated equipment/systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma/GED.
2. Two (2) years of general knowledge/skills in the following areas:

• Minor electrical
• Minor plumbing
• Minor carpentry
• Minor repair of doors/windows, including hardware
• Painting, including minor wall repair
• General building maintenance

Must possess maturity in judgment, demonstrate professionalism, creativity, and the ability to get along with diverse personalities.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the University, maintaining a low-risk driving record.

Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have many of the following:

• Minor HVAC skills
• Refrigerant recovery certification
• Trades-related certifications/training (documentation required)
