Job summary

The Housing Authority Of The City Of Colorado Springs is seeking a Supportive Services Coordinator to lead the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) and Resident Services programs in alignment with HUD rules and CSHA's Annual Plan. You will recruit participants from Housing Choice Voucher clients and CSHA tenants, and oversee case management and partnerships with service providers.

Responsibilities include ITSP development, meticulous file upkeep, quarterly reporting to HUD, and building partnerships

Qualifications

• Requires excellent communication skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and work with little supervision.
• Requires a valid Colorado Driver’s License and the ability to be insured at standard rates.
• Criminal background checks are required and a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) and Resident Services programs as required by CSHA’s Annual Plan and HUD regulations.
• Recruit FSS participants from Housing Choice Voucher participants and CSHA tenants.
• Select and execute contracts with families in accordance with the Annual Plan and HUD regulations.
• Assist participants with goal setting, advocacy, counseling, and crisis intervention after contracts.
• Build partnerships with community organizations to link participants to needed services.
• Maintain participant case files and monitoring system with contracts, progress reports, and escrow information.
• Ensure escrow accounts are established and properly maintained for eligible families.
• Prepare Individual Training and Services Plans (ITSP) for heads of households and adults participating in the program.
• Provide quarterly progress reports and quarterly reports to HUD via 50058 FSS Addendum.
• Develop and coordinate a Program Coordinating Committee (PCC) and quarterly meetings.
• Deliver outreach and engagement activities and coordinate with service providers for participant access to services.
• Oversee escrow funds in accordance with HUD and local policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
