Job summary

Ocala Housing Authority in Ocala, FL is seeking a Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Coordinator to organize and monitor the FSS program, recruit participants, evaluate income for initial certification, and handle case management.

Under supervision of the Resident Services Manager and HCV staff, you will guide participants through intake, assess needs, manage escrow funds, conduct trainings, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field; 3 years grant experience.
• Four years of direct experience counseling/training subsidized housing participants.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressured environment.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new participants for the FSS Program.
• Guide new participants through the initial intake, needs assessment, and program enrollment process.
• Prepare detailed client assessments and track FSS program goals.
• Maintains and documents regular communication with participants to monitor progress and assist with barriers to services.
• Updates and processes invoices for Escrow accounts and disbursements.
