Job summary

Tri County Community Action is seeking a Self-Sufficiency Coordinator to deliver long-term case management, develop goal plans, and maintain client files across a three-county region. The role involves partnering with allied agencies to address barriers to economic self-sufficiency and performing outreach to engage clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include conducting workshops, maintaining up-to-date records, and representing the agency in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Two years of demonstrated and related experience.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Comfortable with public speaking and representing the agency.
• Willingness to visit clients in various settings.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends/evenings.
• State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances.
• Motor Vehicle Driving clearance and PA Driver's License with insurance.
• Reliable transportation available daily.
• Ability to travel within a 3-county service region.
• Ability to complete Getting Ahead facilitator training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term case management for enrolled individuals and develop goal plans.
• Partner with other agencies to provide supportive services.
• Perform community outreach and attend related meetings.
• Conduct individual or group workshop sessions on self-sufficiency topics.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
