Job summary

Go Store It - Self Storage is seeking a dependable Maintenance role to keep our locations running smoothly. You will walk the property daily, perform small repairs, and help customers on-site while ensuring cleanliness and security across units and common areas.

We offer full-time employment with schedule flexibility, health/dental/vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Two weeks of PTO in year one plus ten holidays, and internal promotion opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property daily to spot trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or any issues.
• Fix small items like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple repairs.
• Keep the property clean across hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs; sweep, clean, and prep for next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to ensure proper operation.
• Assist on-site customers when they need help.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Walk the property every day. Look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that’s off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they’re working.
• Help customers when they’re on site and need a hand.
• Take care of the place so it looks right and runs smooth. Like something you’re proud to be part of.
