Job summary

Prime Storage Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our self-storage operations. You will rent units, handle customer inquiries, and maintain accounts while delivering excellent service across locations.

As frontline staff, you will promote facility features, ensure cleanliness, and support daily maintenance tasks, including lock checks and safety checks. This role requires a positive, customer-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in fast-paced, customer-facing role.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technically savvy with ability to learn new applications and POS systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Rent self-storage units, parking spaces, and related products.
• Convert phone/walk-in inquiries into rentals.
• Pursue collections and post payments; maintain accounts receivable.
• Deliver daily bank deposits accurately and timely.
• Upsell moving products and assist in unit sizing decisions.
• Greet customers promptly and professionally; sell features and benefits.
• Resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
