Job summary

City National Bank of Florida seeks an accomplished Mortgage Banker to source and manage self-generated mortgage business across the local market. You will advise clients, qualify borrowers, and coordinate loan solutions while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Focus on marketing to real estate agents, builders and past clients, while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws. On-site role based in the Coral Gables area with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years mortgage sales experience required.
• Effective communication concepts, tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of sales principles, processes and tools.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage instruments and their applications.
• Ability to sell financial products and advise clients.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed individual or team sales goals including deposits and loans.
• Increase conforming loan applications through marketing and referrals.
• Introduce self-sourced customers to other bank lines of business.
• Develop business outside retail branches via real estate agents and builders.
• Recommend loan solutions per lending guidelines and client needs.
• Collect and analyze customer financial information for complex borrowers.
• Prepare loan solutions and ensure documentation compliance; manage pipeline.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Complete required compliance training on time for direct reports.
• Follow SAF E Act requirements and notify HR of status changes.
