Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is seeking CNAs for on-site shifts at a county skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, NY. You will perform personal care, assist with mobility, and monitor residents, while maintaining safety and infection control protocols.

Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, with weekly pay and options for per diem scheduling. Tuition assistance up to $1,500 yearly and ongoing training are offered through CLFC University.

Qualifications

• Current listing in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current BLS (CPR).
• Six months of recent CNA experience.
• Able to complete the New York State Department of Health Criminal History Record Check and a drug screen, and current on the immunizations New York requires for nursing home personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting and help at meals.
• Help residents move safely, with proper body mechanics and lift equipment.
• Take and record vital signs, intake and output, and weights.
• Notice and report changes in a resident's condition to the nurse.
• Keep the resident's environment clean and safe and follow infection control practice.
