Qualifications

• Current listing in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification is required.
• Six months of recent CNA experience.
• Able to complete the New York State DOH Criminal History Record Check and required immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting and help at meals.
• Help residents move safely, with proper body mechanics and lift equipment.
• Take and record vital signs, intake and output, and weights.
• Notice and report changes in a resident's condition to the nurse.
• Keep the resident's environment clean and safe and follow infection control practices.
