Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is seeking CNAs for on-site shifts at a county skilled nursing facility in Lyons, NY. The role offers hourly wages from $25.00 to $28.00, with nights and weekends paid at the top end, and weekly pay.

You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, monitor vital signs, and support nurses as the primary caregiver on each shift. Flexible scheduling options and tuition assistance are available through CLFC University.

Qualifications

• Current listing in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current BLS (CPR).
• Six months of recent CNA experience.
• Able to complete the New York State Department of Health Criminal History Record Check and a drug screen, and current on the immunizations New York requires for nursing home personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting and help at meals.
• Help residents move safely, with proper body mechanics and lift equipment.
• Take and record vital signs, intake and output, and weights.
• Notice and report changes in a resident's condition to the nurse.
• Keep the resident's environment clean and safe and follow infection control practice.
