Job summary

CLFC Healthcare and Communications seeks CNAs for an on-site role at a Wayne County skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, NY. This W-2 hourly, per diem position lets you set your own schedule, with shifts available across days and evenings.

Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, with nights/weekends at the top rate. Weekly pay and up to $1,500/year in tuition assistance toward your LPN or RN are offered.

Qualifications

• Current listing in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.
• Six months of CNA experience.
• Able to complete the New York State Department of Health Criminal History Record Check and a drug screen, and current on immunizations New York requires for nursing home personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting and help at meals.
• Help residents move safely, with proper body mechanics and lift equipment.
• Take and record vital signs, intake and output, and weights.
• Notice and report changes in a resident's condition to the nurse.
• Keep the resident's environment clean and safe and follow infection control practice.
